My favorite gadget this year is also the one that scares me most

I go through a fair few gadgets every year, but very few of them make it to my everyday carry. Even fewer of them have AI features baked in. So when the Looki L1 came across my desk, I was skeptical. A few weeks of skeptical testing later, it's one of my favorite gadgets of the year.
