Every file you copy is costing your SSD more than you think

You copy a 500MB file from your pen drive to your SSD. Now, you'd expect that only a 500MB write operation takes place on your SSD, right? Don't count on it. Depending on the condition of your drive, it may be writing 700MB or even 1GB of data when you copy a 500MB file to it.
