I had just finished setting up a new system for testing, and after following my usual routine of installing fresh Windows, enabling XMP, and more, I was ready to transfer benchmarks and a few AAA games from my Samsung T9 onto the main drive, the WD Black SN850X, when something felt off. The transfer was in progress, but the speeds shown on screen didn't add up to what you'd expect for a drive of this caliber (and price).
