There was a time when Samsung apps were ridiculed as bloatware, and users (myself included) did everything they could to remove them. Over time, though, this sentiment has changed — Samsung's apps got better, Google's arguably got worse, and many came to actually prefer Samsung apps over alternatives. Samsung Messages is one example. We're big fans of this messaging app that packs useful features into a usable interface.
