I can't remember a tool in recent years that I've enjoyed exploring and learning about as much as Obsidian. Which is kind of surprising, because my underwhelming experience with Notion had left me wary of tools (and Obsidian is one of them) that have this mythology around them: a mythology that says that the tool will make you smarter, or only smart people use this tool to begin with. A big reason for my love of Obsidian has less to do with the tool itself and more to do with the mindset with which I approached it. This time, I wasn't going to do so much meta-work that the end goal became secondary.
