I used to think that it's normal for any Android smartphone to slow down over time. As updates get heavier and I install more apps on my phone, performance eventually takes a hit. Later on, I realized that that’s not entirely true. Out of curiosity, I started experimenting with different settings on my phone. While doing all of this, I discovered that turning off an extremely popular Android feature, which most of us leave on by default, made my phone run a lot faster. App launches felt snappier, scrolling was smoother, and the battery lasted longer.
