On 7th April 2022, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, officially opened the Texas Gigafactory production plant. During the “Cyber Rodeo” presentation, Elon Musk confirmed that the new Tesla Gigafactory is the biggest factory in the world. To put it into context, the new Giga Texas factory is equivalent to the size of 15 city blocks; or as Elon Musk put it, the building is big enough to fit 194 billion hamsters.
