[The Next Web] Minecraft’s mini-games are finally coming to consoles next month


If you’re a PC gamer, you can pretty much stop reading now. For everyone else, specifically console-toting Minecraft fans, you’re finally going to be able to get in on the franchise’s mini-game action from June. Announced in a blog post, the Mojang team (now owned by Microsoft) will first roll out a new mode called Battle that, as its name suggests, lets you set up a multiplayer rumble where you need to find supplies found in randomly generated chests to best your enemies. Once you die, you can carry on watching the other players by flying around the arena as a bat.…
