If you have been using Android for as long as I have, you probably have a knee-jerk reaction to the words "phone cleaner." It brings to mind images of Cheetah Mobile's infamous Clean Master, shady apps promising to "download more RAM," and utility tools that are little more than vehicles for full-screen advertisements. For years, the standard advice of tech enthusiasts has been simple: don't use them. Android handles its own memory management fine, and "cleaners" usually do more harm than good.
